Job Interview Preparation

The job interview preparation service is aimed at professionals who wish to develop strong self-presentation skills, high self-confidence, and receive training in techniques to answer confidently and substantively any questions posed during a job interview. To date, we have prepared professionals for interviews in both English and Greek, targeting career changes through role advancement, employer change, industry switch, job function change, or relocation to another country.

This service is completely different from anything you might find on the internet in articles or videos, which are aimed at a broad, undefined audience. A one-size-fits-all approach cannot address the diverse needs of professionals from different industries, occupations, specializations, and positions within an organization’s hierarchy.

WorkScience applies a personalized approach to the Job Interview Preparation service, based on the principles of Career Counseling and aimed at empowering and developing the individual. Under no circumstances can this be achieved with ready-made answers or success formulas.

The Job Interview Preparation Service consists of two (2) one-hour sessions held with a time gap between them. Active participation and commitment to working individually through targeted exercises, which are provided as appropriate, are expected during these sessions.

The process consists of the following three (3) phases:

Phase A: Session on learning the job interview methodology (60 minutes)

Phase B: Individual time for completing exercises at home (as applicable)

Phase C: Practical application session – simulation (60 minutes)

The above process may be extended beyond two sessions if deemed necessary by the client. You will decide for yourself if and when you feel the need to proceed with further training. This will become clear to you at the end of Phase C, at which point you can discuss with your Counsellor the possibility of extending the service with an additional session. After all, the best interview you will ever give is the most recent one: practice and preparation are what make the difference.

Job Search Techniques

This service is designed to equip job seekers with effective strategies and skills to navigate the job market successfully. It covers a variety of essential topics such as how to identify suitable job opportunities, methods for researching companies and industries, optimizing your job applications, and leveraging networking both online and offline.

Participants learn how to use job search tools and platforms efficiently and manage follow-up communications. The goal is to empower individuals to conduct a focused, organized, and proactive job search that increases their chances of securing the right position.

Career Vision & Goal Setting

This service aims to help individuals discover and clearly define their professional goals through a process of self-analysis and guidance. Through discussions, targeted questions, and focused exercises, your counselor supports you in better understanding your personal values, interests, skills, and priorities.

The outcome of this process is the formulation of a specific, realistic, and achievable professional goal that will serve as a guide for making career decisions and planning your next steps.

Transition/Career Change Management

This service supports individuals who are going through a phase of professional transition or change, whether it involves a career change, industry shift, role change, work environment, or relocation to a different country or city. Through personalised counseling and change management methodologies, we help professionals successfully navigate the challenges of change, develop new skills, and smoothly adapt to their new situation.

The process includes analysing the current situation, identifying needs and resources, and designing a personalized action plan that supports a smooth transition and the achievement of new professional goals.

Labour Market Reintegration

Design and development of an action plan to support professionals in their effort to re-enter the job market after a “career break.”
The need for continuous skills upgrading and staying informed about changes in the job market is an integral part of the process.

Other Career Challenges

Salary negotiation, toxic work environment, relationships with colleagues, work-related stress, and professional burnout are topics we address in our sessions.
