WorkScience® was created as the parent brand of CVexperts®, a trusted name in the Greek market with over 15 years of experience specializing in CV writing and career counselling services. Founded by Maria Pafioli, co-founder of CVexperts®, WorkScience® represents the natural evolution and expansion of the company’s expertise. Building on the strong local foundation, WorkScience® now broadens its portfolio to serve international markets and corporate B2B clients with a comprehensive range of career solutions. Our mission is to combine deep local know-how with global reach to support career growth and talent development worldwide.
Academic Collaborations
At WorkScience®, we value strong partnerships with the academic community. For many years, we have collaborated closely with the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, particularly with the MEd Program in Counseling, Career Guidance and Lifelong Learning. Our founder, Maria Pafioli, has personally trained numerous career counsellors who completed their internship programs with us, ensuring that the next generation of professionals is equipped with practical skills and real-world experience.

Virtual Internship Program
The pandemic accelerated a paradigm shift towards remote working, transforming how white-collar professions operate. At WorkScience®, we pioneered one of the first 100% remote training and internship programs in Greece. By leveraging advanced office tools and a tailored approach, we successfully adapted practical training to the digital environment, setting a benchmark for remote career development.
Maria Pafioli is a certified Career Counsellor (EOPPEP A Registry), the founder of WorkScience® and head of the Career Counselling and B2B Human Resources Projects department, and co-founder and head of CVexperts® since 2008.
She brings prior experience in the FMCG sector (Unilever Hellas) as a marketing professional, in education as a communications specialist (Athens University of Economics and Business) and academic associate (Technological Educational Institute of Patras), and in market research (ICAP, Centrum) as a market research analyst.
She holds a postgraduate degree in “Counselling, Career Guidance and Lifelong Learning” from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, an M.Sc. in Intercultural Management from Copenhagen Business School in Denmark, and an undergraduate degree in Operational Research and Marketing from the Athens University of Economics and Business.
Maria Boli is a Psychotherapist, Adult Educator, and Scientific Associate of WorkScience® for the Design and Delivery of Career Counselling and Intervention Programs.
In addition to her private psychotherapy practice since 2020, she collaborates with educational institutions such as OTEAcademy and the British Council, implementing skills development programs for professionals.
She is trained in Systemic Psychotherapy at Antistixi (currently completing her clinical specialisation). She also holds a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Counselling Psychology from the University of Thessaly and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Athens University of Economics and Business. Her diverse educational background further includes studies in Dramatic Play (School of Play), Educational Sciences (AUEB), and Special Education & Didactics (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens)
